Located on a hill in the Khandapada Forest Range, some 20 kilometers from Khandapada town, is the spectacular Rajagiri Waterfall. The area is framed by verdant woodlands, adding to its natural beauty. One of the largest waterfalls in Nayagarh District, the Rajagiri Waterfall has its source at the peak of a hill. It takes roughly two to three kilometers of uphill hiking to reach the waterfall. Many people visit Rajagiri Hill Stations every winter since they are synonymous with Odisha tourism. Near Khandapada in Nayagrh, you’ll find the beautiful Rajagiri Waterfall.
For a refreshing dip and some stunning photos, head to Rajagiri waterfall. The temples of Gupteswar Kunda, Hanuman Mandir, Panchalingeswar, Hanuman Pada, and Mahavir may all be found atop Rajagiri Hill. Nayagrh, Odisha’s Rajagiri Mountain Peak, is a great place to go for a picnic.
We are close to the falls; hurry down. The waterfall’s origin was just down the temple, and we got there quickly. And what a thing of splendor it was! Incredible! This is nature’s truest, most well-kept secret. We spent well over an hour there, between taking photos and relaxing in the refreshing water. There were two other waterfalls, each larger than the first, just below the first one. We got to the top of the one in the middle and came back down.
Our prior knowledge taught us that getting down, I’m sure I’m leaving a lot out, but needless to say, it was an unforgettable experience. The villagers are making an effort to clear the way.
Neither official nor non-official groups have made it there. The stunning season of autumn retains its unique character.
